Located at the northern portion of Marilao is barangay Patubig, bounded by the municipality of Sta. Maria and barangays Sta Rosa II and Tabing Ilog.It has a total land area of 136.1 hectares, mostly devoted to agriculture, owing to the presence of irrigation, thick soils and low slopes. The other portions are used for residential and industrial purposes.

There are four identified recreational areas in the barangay, one resort and one industrial estate. There is no public high school but there is one public elementary school, one day care center and one private elementary school.
